An Bord Altranais C1 approved Phlebotomy workshop:
Phlebotomy.ie run a one day Phlebotomy training workshop. This workshop is aimed at Nurses, Midwives and Medical Doctors/Students and Paramedics.
Our workshops are delivered by Certified practising senior Phlebotomists. We cover many topics including the legal aspects of practising phlebotomy. Our classes are small and we put a huge emphasis on the practical aspect of blood draws. We use primed arms and hands and we cover all the blood collection systems used in Ireland. We also cover use of Butterfly needles.
Competency testing is carried out at the end of the course.
In addition to our one day workshop we provided on site training in Nursing Home.
